I will say a prayer for him and his family.
On Friday afternoon, my cousin, Burley Spears along with another man were severely injured on the job at the saw-mill near the Appalachia Elementary school. Burley's right arm was injured so severly that it had to be amputated above the elbow and the other man lost some fingers in the accident. Burley is currently in the hospital in Johnson City. Keep him and the other man in your prayers please.
I will say a prayer for him and his family.

I would like to request prayer for my dad. He has been fighting lung cancer the last 2 yrs or so, for which he's been getting chemo, and has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor. He will be seeing a neurologist Nov 6th for further diagnosis of the tumor (it is not known yet if it is operable). This is his 4th round. He has a tumor in his spinal cord in his neck which was operated on as best they could about 15 years ago. Then a few years ago we found out he had colon cancer which was completely removed. Then not long after that we found out the colon cancer had moved to the lungs prior to removal. And now a brain tumor. He's been through a lot. But he's been strong and as positive as can be. So if you would, please pray for him and add him to your church prayer lists if possible. We would greatly appreciate it.

From reading that, it's obvious that this one tough man. He's did this before several times, I'm sure he can do it again...not a doubt in my mind. He'll be in my thoughts and I'm sure in many from a good family that's helped him through this before. Hoping for the best, cancer is a terrible thing, but he/I/countless others are living proof that it can be beat.
Thanks R13!! You're alright when you want to be.![]()

I just lost a friend to cancer. He left behind a wife and three young children. Also, another friend found out his mother has cancer and yet another friend found out her sister has cancer. Another friend is facing surgery sometime soon.
Looking for my Darcy, but finding only Wickham. Right now, I'd settle for Bingley.
